Safeguarding Policy

BCGBA advise that all clubs have a safeguarding policy in order to protect and support members from any potential abuse.

All issues relating to safeguarding emanate from “The Care Act 2014.”

Policy Statement

At Mottram St. Andrew Bowling Club we acknowledge the club’s duty to safeguard all the club members. All these members have a right to support and protection, with their particular needs taken into account. Implicit in these is our duty to support and respect members from other clubs.

It is the responsibility of all in the club to assist in these endeavours.

Policy Aim

All our members have the right to be safe from harm and to enjoy club activities free from fear of abuse, neglect and exploitation.

  • All issues relating to safeguarding emanate from the relationships within the club, based on openness, honesty, mutual trust and respect.
